Friends of the Cold Lake Public Library

Any member of the Cold Lake Public Library may be a member of the Friends. There is no membership fee. All that is required is an interest in the library and the willingness to share creative ideas and the initiative to undertake projects which will help fund projects in the library beyond what the library budget can support.
 

Meetings

The Friends meet the second Thursday of the month at 1:00 in the Grand Centre Branch. Please contact Mary Anne Penner at 780-594-8828 for more information. The public is welcome to attend.

Books for Babies

Husky and Mohawk Gas Cards 

A simple swipe to support the library! The Husky Community Rebate Program is a great way for you to support the Cold Lake Public Library. Here's how it works: Husky sends our organization a rebate of 2% of the purchases made at Husky or Mohawk gas stations or Husky House Restaurants. Cards are available at the library. They are not credit cards, and there is no paper work. Simply give a name and get a card. We will not contact you except maybe to say thank-you! Husky-Mohawk does not get your personal information and will not contact you. Just present your card at the point of sale and our organization receives the 2% rebate of your total purchases.

Honey

Honey is from Parkland Honey Farms in Goodsoil, Saskatchewan. Available at both branches of the library

• 500 g liquid honey: 5.00
• 500 g creamed honey: 4.50
• 1 kg creamed honey: 8.50
• 3 kg creamed honey: 18.00

Cotton Candy Machine Rental

 For birthdays and small parties up to 25 people: $35.00

For larger parties and fund raising events, call Casey Penner at (780) 594-6428 or leave your name and contact information at either branch of the Cold Lake Public Library.

People of all ages love candy floss. Choose from eight flavors of delicious candy floss.

Please note, a refundable damage deposit is required.
 

Campbell Soup Labels

 Both branches of the Cold Lake Public Library collect Campbell Soup Labels. These labels are redeemable for musical instruments, art supplies, and materials for our Home Resource Centre. Please include the label and barcode on all donations.
 

Books for Sale

Both branches of the library have assorted books, magazines and movies for sale.

Exam Invigilations

The Grand Centre Branch has space available for exam invigilations. Donations are accepted for proctoring exams. Please call 594-5101 for more information or to book a time and date for an exam.
