The Wonder of Birds

Come soar with us at the Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation while we explore the life of birds. Learn how these amazing creatures survive and thrive in a variety of habitats and how amazing adaptations allow birds to fly, feed and create their homes. This hour long video conferencing presentation takes you on an intimate exploration of the wonder of birds. Hosted by the Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation/Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park.

Fun Run for Strays and Lakeland Humane Society Tour

5.00 entrance fee. Money will be donated to the Lakeland Humane Society. After walking or running for thirty minutes around the track behind the Grand Centre Branch of the Cold Lake Public Library, we will be walking up to the Lakeland Humane Society for a tour and to present them with the donation of money from the entrance fees. Please bring a hat and water. Snacks will be provided after we come back to the Grand Centre Branch.
