Art Lending Program

IMG_2673_copy_1_ The Cold Lake Public Library recognizes the importance of multiple types of literacy. It's as important to understand the beauty of a musical phrase or the composition of a drawing as it is to read or calculate numbers. We believe that each person in our community can appreciate and understand paintings, prints, and drawings. The Art Lending Program will make art affordable, available, and accessible to everyone.

The benefits of this program are many, from individuals who borrow art works for their homes,to the local businesses that would like to change décor periodically. Local artists of the community will benefit from the exposure and purchase of the art work.

Art available for lending can be viewed at the Grand Centre Branch and signed out with a library card.

Lois Hole Legacy Program

flowers The Lois Hole Library Legacy Program invites friends to help build the collections in Alberta’s libraries. Donations may be more than merely a gift to your library and community. The Legacy Program allows for a donation in the donor’s own name, or to honor a friend, family member or organization. Imagine if you will the pleasure that might derive from a decision to honor friends or family members in this way, while enriching the community through a donation. For more information contact the library.
