Pop-Ups at Storytime

After our Pop-Up themed storytime today, we made butterflies that seem to be coming off the page!

Catch Preschool Storytime at the Grand Centre Branch Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and at the Harbour View Branch Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.

Upcoming WInter Games Programs

2010 Lakeland Winter Games Photography Contest

Ages 6 to 17

Take a sport photo during the Winter Games (February 4-7). Photo must be delivered to the Bonnyville or the Cold Lake Public Libraries by Febraury 15 to qualify.

One photo per person. All photos must be printed on 5" by 7" paper. All entries become the property of the libraries and will not be returned.

Photos need to be submitted with a separate paper stating name, age and phone number of the entrant.

No captions or names on photos.

Prizes: digital cameras. Judges decisions will be final.

eBooks and Audiobooks

 There are now 1068 downloadable eBooks and audiobooks in the system.

With a Cold Lake Public Library card you can download and read eBooks on most PC or MAC computers or download and listen to audiobooks on your cell phone, MP3 player, iPod, or most MAC and Windows computers. In addition, many audiobooks can be burned to a CD.
